A nice compliment I got regarding my Covid prevention habits

When I was at Fred Meyer in Puyallup (the last time I did my heavy duty grocery and non-grocery item shopping) I was purchasing items that have to be purchased in their department only since they are items that get regularly stolen (i.e. shampoo, certain body washes, lotion, etc.) The young gal that guarded that department and that you rang up with made a comment how she liked how clean I was (I grabbed a hand wipe out of my shopping cart BEFORE touching the pin pad).

3 ways you may NOT have thought of to prevent Covid

Prevention of Covid #1:  Because I eat these healthy and delicious chips, I don't have to go in the main chip aisle that has lots of other people because at Albertsons in Puyallup, these chips are sold near their front door of the store. Prevention of Covid #2:  This past January (2025) when I was driving to Oregon on the freeway, I saw a sign that said NOT to pick up hitchhikers. It made me think of Covid. 🙂 Obviously one wouldn't want to pick up hitchhikers due to potentially helping them escape jail and/or being dangerous people that can harm you, but you also don't know if they are a carrier of Covid. Prevention of Covid #3:  When I was a kid, I remembered my dad told me that someone had more chances of getting into a car accident than a plane crash, but now you have more chances of getting Covid on an airplane (at least ONE person has Covid OR is a carrier of Covid) according to an AARP newspaper article.
