Welcome video (at above blue link) by Carly Calabrese, founder & creator of this Covid Awareness & Support blog you're at. (The video is 7 minutes & 46 seconds long).

Some tips to ensure success with watching & listening to the (above) video:

1. Prior to clicking on the (above) blue link, ensure that the speakers on the device that you're on are on & loud enough for you to hear. (This includes any external speakers you may have if applicable. If you have external speakers, ensure they work and are plugged in correctly).

2. If you're using a regular computer mouse, left mouse-click on the (above blue link).

3. An image of a woman with yellow curtains appears and then you'd left mouse-click on the sideways white colored triangle that's on the image to watch the video (if you're using a regular computer mouse).

NOTE: If you're not using a regular computer mouse, you'd click with whatever mouse you're using (i.e. a built-in one on your laptop for the above tips).

  1. Luckily, I've never caught Covid (Knock on wood) and never will. But you are so right despite all the precautions we take, it's never enough.  People may think you're difficult or even a jerk, but in the end it's your health and your life you're saving.  Great video.

  2. I had to visit a walk-in medical clinic to consult about having a breathing flare-up and fighting off getting sick one time I went to a massage therapist who I had pre-screened regarding being sick of any kind/been around anyone sick (that she was aware of) within the last 14 days, but did NOT request she wear a mask and I didn't. Luckily, I didn't get sick. This was a year and 10 months after being initially diagnosed with Covid that one time I had ever had it. The PA (Physician Assistant) I consulted with said it was normal to still get breathing flare-ups after getting Covid. He explained how something in your lungs shrunk as a result and how his friend who's in his 40's (age) after having Covid whenever his kids get sick (like a cold) he starts getting breathing flare-ups because of the germs. People I personally know have ongoing breathing problems as a result of having Covid and they didn't have breathing problems prior to having Covid.
