Remember you get what you ask for in life
I was quite pleased when I went to my eye place for my eye
exam this month. When I called to discuss things PRIOR to my appointment when
booking, (their Covid protocols), the assistant manager called me back and we
did a quick call to discuss my Covid requests PRIOR to my appointment. The
assistant manager pre-screened the technician and Dr. that I would be with IN
ADVANCE to my appointment (ensuring they weren't sick/around anyone that was
sick), including other Covid protocols such as wearing a mask, having whatever
I will be touching/using at my appointment to be sanitized, and the technician
to have their hands sanitized (since washing hands is too much between the
volume of patients they see and the Dr. to wash their hands before my
appointment). The assistant manager even offered to wear a mask, check me out,
and sanitized the pin pad I would be touching when checking out.
It's important to remember to NOT assume places you go to
will be on the ball with all Covid protocols, especially when mask mandates
were lifted long ago and my dad mentioned how when he got Covid the first time,
when asked how he got it, he made a comment how the Dr. he saw wasn't wearing a
mask.
