As if to prevent getting Covid was enough of a reason to wipe down your shopping cart
I know it's enough for me to NOT want to get Covid that I thoroughly wipe down my shopping cart BEFORE using when shopping (or going in line at the store for social distancing), but when I was at Albertsons recently, I saw fingerprints on the shopping cart PRIOR to me wiping down. That should be enough proof that carts are NOT "clean enough" to use and it's NOT worth the gamble. When I go to the restroom at Fred Meyer, I have one of the nice workers watch my cart when he's at self check out and I ask him when I return if anybody touched my cart.
