Some other easy tips to prevent Covid spread

Image
Some other easy, quick, and inexpensive ways to prevent Covid spread: 1) I keep my Driver's License and account # card for financial institution in individual sandwich bags so that when it gets handed to the teller and then handed back to me. 2) I also grab future deposit slips at my financial institution when I'm at the drive-thru for future use because how one of my financial institutions has it set up is in ONE booklet that you have to tear off. By ripping off future deposit slips, that is LESS times I have to keep touching the ONE booklet in the drive-thru container that many others touch when doing drive-thru deposits and withdrawals. It also gives it MORE time to sit in my car (the ripped off deposit slips) until future use (more time to die if it did have any contagious germs on it). 3) Obviously going through the drive-thru at a bank or credit union reduces Covid spread and you don't have to wear your PPE (mask and face shield) 🙂 since you're NOT going near an...

A recent example of how the mask and face shield come in handy

Recently I was in a Safeway restroom and a young woman came in and was sniffling and grabbed a piece of toilet paper for her nose and I had to walk by her to grab paper towels to dry my hands on the way out. We didn't talk and I don't know her, but I don't know if she was sick. But, I felt more comfortable because I had on my mask and face shield.

Nitrile gloves

A good price and quantity for purchasing nitrile gloves is from Costco. A box of 150 pairs are $14.31 with tax in Puyallup, WA ($12.99 before tax price when I last purchased 7/28/25). I've gotten them on sale for $9.99 BEFORE tax. They are great for the prevention of Covid spread . I keep the box in my front car seat so I can easily put on BEFORE going into the store, getting gas, OR when going through the drive-thru for my financial institutions when I have to touch the container you put your deposits in. I keep some of the gloves in my house and use for other non-Covid uses (i.e. touching cancer and reproductive harm items in my home, flaking a pre-cooked roast chicken, and putting on BioFreeze pain gel).
