Did you know this over-the-counter Covid test expires quite a bit after its expiration date?

 


Back when the South Hill Library provided brand-new over-the-counter Covid tests, they had also provided slips of paper that mentioned expiration date extensions (basically that 15-22 months past the expiration date of the tests that they were still good for) and to visit a link for more details. So, I taped the slip of paper on each Covid test box for reference.

When I was at Fred Meyer's front inside entrance where the shopping carts are before entering the store this past Friday night, I smiled at an older white woman who was leaving. I had on my usual maximum protection re-usable mask with filters (my first mask I got when Covid first hit over 5 years ago) and she smiled and came by to chat with me on her way out. She had no mask on, but told me that if she wore her mask that would be her plan to rob the store because nobody would recognize her (she was joking). This place has the cheapest hand wipes to have "on hand" 😊

CVS has the BELOW photographed hand wipes in their store for $2.09 regular price BEFORE tax and other coupons/discounts you may have. (Recall hand wipes are what you should be using in between washing your hands with regular soap and water AND for when touching commonly touched surfaces, specifically in public such as: debit/credit card terminals in stores, doors, and shopping carts to prevent obtaining Covid).
